2nd Annual Sample the Sierra was a Success!

If you were not on Ski Run Blvd last Sunday, then you might have been the only one.  Crowds of people lined up to taste local food and wine at the 2^nd year of the Sample the Sierra farm to fork festival.  This year’s festival brought in 15 different wineries from El Dorado County, 10 local restaurants and 10 different farmers/producers from the Sierra Nevada Region. Even with all that great food and wine to taste there was plenty of time to visit the more than 20 artists and artisans that were showcasing their wares all handmade, here in our own backyard.  All in all there were over 1,500 people in attendance at the 2^nd year of this fun and important event for our region.
