Artist and Owner: Sally Chamberlain
Sally Chamberlain was born and raised in Lafayette, California. Artist, traveler, and owner of Chamberlain Creations she makes hand-crafted jewelry out of sterling silver and stones. Her jewelry is energetic, unique, and fun!
She started in the 1980’s making friendly plastic jewelry with rhinestones and seed beads. Her sister and her sold thousands of their specialized earrings, until the big huge plastic earrings went out of style. Fast forward to 2009 when Sally was persuaded to take an art class by another of her four sisters. The only class available on Saturdays was a metal smith class given by Aleris Hart. She took the class and has been addicted ever since!
Her creations started out simple with circles, squares, and silver balls. Soon they took on a life of their own! Sally creates earrings, bracelets, rings, and pendants that are really pieces of art. Her inspiration comes from women, their outfits, and their styles. Other times a stone can tell her what it wants to become. When Sally gets into her studio she loses all track of time and the jewelry becomes a part of her.
