After 20 years of experimenting with premium Sangiovese grapes, 2014 brings more innovations from the cellar. We are poised to release a unique Cal-Ital Brunello later this year, and the Tasting Room remains one of the premier places to experience several different varieties of Sangiovese under one roof.
Vino Noceto is a family-run vineyard and winery founded in 1987 by Suzy and Jim Gullett of Shenandoah Valley in Plymouth, California. Renowned throughout California for exceptional Sangiovese, Vino Noceto has grown to produce 5,500 cases of Sangiovese-based wines. Additionally, we produce exceptional Zinfandel, Barbera, and Pinot Grigio wines, as well as four Grappas, and a light, lively and refreshing Moscato called Frivolo.
Visit to taste, picnic or play bocce. We are open daily weekdays from 11 am- 4 pm and weekends 11 am – 5pm. Our site features outdoor picnic grounds and two bocce courts surrounded by the historic Sierra Foothill Vineyards in Amador County.
