Entrepreneurs, Chris and Nicole Smith were inspired to start South Lake Brewing Company after being exposed to the craft beer scene, “We grew up here in South Lake Tahoe but also lived in other California towns for college and several years afterward. We fell in love with craft beer off the hill. Soon after getting married, we decided to move back to SLT and wanted to bring that same craft beer culture and community we experienced at other breweries to Tahoe with us” said Nicole.
South Lake Brewing Company offers a community centered on independent local craft beer and the love of Lake Tahoe. Their kid and dog-friendly tasting room is a great place to spend time with friends, family, or meet someone new. South Lake Brewing Company is the largest craft production brewery on the South Shore, which allows them to have the capacity to create as much high-quality Tahoe-crafted locally made beer as possible.
