Early Bird Tickets For Sample The Sierra Tickets On Sale May 1st!

10th anniversary of popular farm to fork event an annual sell-out
 

Ticket sales for the 10th annual Sample the Sierra, South Shore’s most popular farm to fork event, are available beginning May 1, at $40 for adults and $30 for 21 and younger. (www.samplethesierra.com) The early bird gets the worm and early ticket buyers are guaranteed to take part in the one-day celebration highlighting signature Sierra Nevada foods, wines, spirits, and brews. The event has sold-out in advance the past two years, making advance purchases the tasteful move.

The 10th annual Sample the Sierra is held at Bijou Community Park, South Lake Tahoe. Premier early bird tickets go on sale May 1 until July 4: $40 for adults, $30 for under 21 and designated drivers, with children three and younger free. Online sales are open until Sept. 13 at $50 and $40 respectively. If any remain, day-of pricing is $55 and $45. Tickets can be purchased: http://bit.ly/SampletheSierra2019.
Sample the Sierra will include more than 20 booths with a different winery, distillery or
brewery expertly paired with a restaurant utilizing local produce in signature dishes. A 10th anniversary Sample the Sierra canvas tote bag will be available for purchase online for $7, or for $10 at the gate.
A festival marketplace will also feature local handmade goods, jams, jewelry, artwork and spices among other regionally crafted items. Local chefs from participating restaurants go head-to-head during the Sierra Chefs’ Challenge, a competitive, timed cooking challenge. Live music and other entertainment will be announced soon.

Sample the Sierra is produced by the Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce, Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority, El Dorado County, and the City of South Lake Tahoe.
