The art of craft beer has taken the nation by storm within the last few years, and South Lake Tahoe has joined the ranks. In the past couple of years, several new breweries have opened their doors on the South Shore to the delight of tourists and locals alike.
Follow this mouthwatering trail through the South Shore and stop at all nine breweries/tasting rooms across town. Each stop evokes a unique experience, varying from self-served walls of beer and underground eateries to quaint neighborhood spots.
Not into beer? You can still travel the trail! Many stops also offer wine and spirits — even a menu of specialty cocktails. The South Tahoe Beer Trail offers the opportunity to explore a beautiful region of the Sierras, support local business, and get tipsy while you’re at it.
