“Tahoe Heartbeat Apparel was born out of the love a passion we share for Lake Tahoe. We are spreading the Lake Tahoe love one heartbeat at a time.”
Tahoe Heartbeat owner and creator, Parker Alexander, grew up with a passion for designed clothing and hats. His love for fashion and defined style led him to start crocheting beanies for the cold winters in Tahoe as a teenager. In the summer months, he was constantly drawing freehand designed on trucker hats to express his creativity and rock his own work. The Tahoe native always represented his love for his home in his creations.
After 15 years of drawing, sewing, and designing, Tahoe Heartbeat was beginning to develop. While finishing film school in San Francisco, Parker drew the outline of Lake Tahoe with pencil, on a heather gray snapback hat, and everyone loved it. It was clean and simple, but Parker wanted something new, unique, and different. One warm summer day in the park, he was browsing social media and came across a volleyball shirt with an EKG running through it, the idea was born. He went right home and got to designing. After several tries, the Tahoe Heartbeat logo was developed. He drew the Tahoe Heartbeat logo on one hat, posted it on social media, and the response was more than he could have ever imagined.
The Tahoe Heartbeat brand exploded in popularity throughout the Lake Tahoe basin and beyond. Now offering trucker hats, beanies, men’s and women’s apparel, stickers, and more, the distinct Tahoe Heartbeat logo can be found everywhere. Ready to get your hands on the heartbeat?
